Health Benefits of Raw Honey

Updated: Aug 3, 2019

Raw Honey is not processed or pasteurized. It has the enzymes and pollen's that we need to maintain great health. There is a program on netflex called rotten that is about honey and how it can be adulterated and most that is imported is not pure. So please know where your honey comes from.

The benefits of raw honey are :

Natural sweetener, Energy booster due to having carbohydrates in it.

Rich in antioxidants that may help with heart function.

Honey is great for your skin , it will moisturize, aid in its healing. Honey is anti bacterial, and helps with inflammation. Great for acne, burns , and wounds. It can be applied directly to the area. The honey will support the surrounding tissue.

Honey can soothe sore throats, may help during colds and cough.

1 tsp daily can decrease allergic response to pollen's. The cells in a honey comb have pollen and honey in them so when extracted the pollen is in the honey we eat.

Honey can promote restorative sleep.

Honey is a pre-biotic that is needed for a healthy gut.

Honey has been used since ancient times.

Honey is the only food that never goes bad. Raw honey will crystallize, we want our honey to crystallize that shows that it is raw. If you want to re-liquefy it, heat a kettle of water to boil, turn it off and place your container in the water and it will re-liquefy..

If you have any questions or feedback let me know.

Thank you,

Grandma Willow.
